Needless to say, chatroom is where people tend to deceive, people lie to people. Fake people are everywhere. In real life, they may look normal, vary from different jobs.
But in virtual reality, their innerself starts to show. You see beast, fagets, lesbians, gays and desperate people are everywhere in there. Men become women, women become men, before you know, you have been deceived all night long.
Why they lie? survey shows that chatters always express themselves in a chatroom in every way they want, express their anger, sorrow, sexual drive, loneliness and so on. These are several factors that need to be consider before you go any further.
GENDER
This is the very first thing to be considered. I have stressed this before. Take notice that there are guy who pretends to be girl to chat with you, he is actually a gay who wants your attention. Similar case to lesbian. Even though both types tend to give obvious nickname like 'lesgirl' or 'malelikesmale', some tend to camouflage themselves.
I have chatted with several girls before who told me they were lesbians, but in fact they were not, they were in the process to become one. Here, everyone is a male, everyone is a female. So, be careful.
AGE
This is the common lie in everyone. Young kids pretend to be 26 years old, old grandpa pretends to be 19 years old. However, it is easy to spot them. Their maturity reflects in their words. Those kids don't know much about career prospect, while that '19 years old boy' seems so matured compared to his age.
LOCATION
Some people don't take location seriously, so they say whatever they want, who cares. Some guys are smart too, if the female chatter is from Australia, so is he, while in reality, he might be in India. In fact, he is indian! don't mistaken me as raising race issue here, that is just an example.
PICTURE
Associated with the lies above, they go one step further by convincing people that they are really what they are. Logically, we cannot still confirm whose picture is that. You may see a female picture, but in fact the chatter is a guy.
One of the tips to make sure it is a correct picture is to ask the chatter to show more than 4 pictures of his/her own. However, they still can lie if they had more than five similar pictures. Just that, these people are stupid, they always have one picture, so you know the chatter lies.
Surefire way is asking them to on their cam. However, female chatters often feel irritated if out of sudden, a guy asks for a cam.
PHONE NUMBER/EMAIL
Beware that some chatters give other people's number to you, might be her enemies. You may end up calling someone who is dead asleep in 3am. Think wise, people don't give their numbers easily to strangers. So why should you trust that it is her number?
The only way to get her number and get good response is after you have chatted several time and you already developed trust in her.
If the chatter suddenly ask for your email, be cautioned that the chatter might send you a virus. Also, don't accept file transfer easily.
INVITATION
This is for gals out there. Have u ever read in newspaper about a couple who knows each other in a chatroom, met and suddenly the girl got raped? I believe this often happen.
Okay, the chatter is good. He succeed in lying to you in several ways(maybe because you tust people easily). He may be a patience beast, waiting day after day to get your approval to meet each other.
